I help hotel and condo teams prove their buildings are inspection-ready.
Most buildings can't prove their last inspection finding was actually fixed. I spent my career in hotel engineering inheriting that problem, so I built two tools to end it.
AHJ Radar is a free reference: who governs your building, what's in force, what changed. Mason Mathews is the platform that makes verified closure the standard: every requirement tied to a governing code and a specific asset, evidence on every correction, and no one signs off on their own work.
Why I built them. Readiness lives in binders, inboxes, and people's heads. Work gets marked complete with no photo, no comment, and no second set of eyes. The people accountable for buildings deserve to know where they stand before an inspector or an incident tells them.
I once started at a property where every compliance document lived on two hard drives — the Chief Engineer's and the Director's. Both had left right before I arrived. I was responsible for a building I couldn't prove was compliant, because the proof walked out the door with the two people who had it. Weeks of chasing vendors for inspection reports, permits and COIs followed. The work probably had been done. But "probably" doesn't hold up when an inspector, an owner, or an attorney is asking. I needed a system that kept all of it in one place and protected everyone who came after me. It didn't exist. So I built it.
